Ep25 of Outside 50 has one of the most involved footy players in the United States, NY Magpie's Drea Casillas. Some might even call her Wonder Woman, Drea talks all things women’s footy from her many roles with starting the NY Lady Magpies to playing on the US Freedom team to being a founder of the Women’s Association and a former board member of the league and now President of the NY Magpies club itself. Wow. Drea's impressive athletic background also lends her to be a role model and leader on the off the field for women’s footy. She’s one of the strongest and most determined players in US footy today. Drea in 2019 played at her 14th USA Nationals after recently giving birth to her son last year. Committed to continually growing the game of footy across the US and especially for her home team in New York, Drea's leadership of the women NY Magpies inspires an entire club, driven for success on the field, but also having a sense of community and involvement for all men and women, to be able to feel welcomed into an Aussie Rules Football family.
