Great Ep23 today with guests Stu Nicol and Al MacGlashan of the Chicago Swans FC. Both Stu and Al have a long history to talk about with footy here in the USA, Al especially who first starting seeking out sports to play in Chicago in 1999 after originally coming over from Geelong Victoria, for a 6 month working holiday. Stu is more recent but a true Chicago legend already, reports also an unusual path to footy in Chicago as being a native Scotsman he has been able to represent Scotland in the Euro Cup on two occasions. Stu has a real passion for the game and its growth but also the social events that come with the game, and that bind a team like the Swans together, and has done so for many many years. With the intro of women's footy to Chicago recently and that part of the club growing exponentially, Stu and Al relate how great it is to have now women playing in a Chicago uniform but also taking key roles on the administration of the sport.
