Episode 25 Season 2 is out with Patrick Dorrian. Pat is currently playing in the Baltimore Orioles Organization and in 2019 played for the Fredrick Keys (Advanced-A affiliate). Pat was drafted in 2014 out of high school in the 12th round of the MLB draft. Pat signed his contract with the Braves in 2014 but a couple weeks into his pro career he decided that he was not ready for his professional career to start. He decided to play college baseball and choose to attended Herkimer College, a JUCO in New York. At Herkimer Pat was a 2 sport athlete (Baseball and Basketball). He ended his career at Herkimer as a 2nd team All-American in baseball. After JUCO, Pat attended Lynn University a Division 2 school in Florida.  Pat would have an amazing 2-year career at Lynn. Pat was a First Team Division 2 All-American and named the SSC Player of the year in 2018. In 2018, Pat hit 17 HR, 57 RBI, OPS, OPS 1.269, and AVG .394. Pat signed a Free Agent contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates after his senior season. In 2019, Pat was traded to the Baltimore Orioles.  Pat has a had a crazy career so far but has shown his maturity and confidence along the way. Pat was so open to talk about all of his experiences over the past couple years and held nothing back. I am really excited to see how his career will progress in 2021. Please join me in listening to Pat’s story and “Always Remember Be Yourself”.
