In this episode, I introduce the show as In the Mix with Mixel - the name of the show before I changed it to She Creates. I interview Liz Alcazar, a baker and cake artist based in Santa Ana, CA. Liz talks to us about how she balances her day job as an American Sign Language interpreter at a community college and her cake and baking business known as Peace and Cakes. She walks us through her creative process, from the idea, to the sketch, to the actual baking.
