Speaker: Lukus Counterman - Prayer is something that takes many forms, but we need to realize that not all of them please the Lord. In the opening verses of Matthew 6, Jesus taught his disciples about prayer. He clearly stated that some people are hypocrites and others are wrong-headed in their attempts to communicate with God. Our Father in heaven sees our hearts, he doesn’t merely hear our words. He knows who we pray to, why we pray, and what it is that we really want. So as we begin prayer week as a church, let’s take some time together to learn about prayer that pleases God.
