Welcome to Episode 2!This past week has handed us some THICK topics to chat about. Julia jumps right into the collaboration between Lil Nas X and Wrangler Jeans. White men are pissed and unbearably wrong (as per usual). Ally takes a critical look at the Femm App, a period tracking app funded by anti-choice donors, and the negative effects illegitimate apps, like the Femm App, will have on its users. We take a look at one of the most unimpressive, wishy-washy, good-boy presidential candidates, Joe Biden. Struggling with transitions.... we then hop into current attacks on the trans community. We try to imagine what straight pride will look like. We can only guess at least one Prius will be in attendance. *Insert another terrible transition* We discover a harsh throughline between the Tallahassee yoga shooting last year and the man threatening to attack democratic senators. Each of these events shares a similar birthplace. We propose firing all the men who are hesitant to mentor women and blame the #metoo movement for "negative consequences".Yikes. Thanks for listening!
