In this message, professor Danny Harrod shares about being an exile and traveling back to God. He uses Jeremiah 31:1-5 as an anchor point for this message. The Theme for the 2020-21 year is Good News. The Greek word that is translated as “gospel” is εὐαγγέλιον (euangelion), or literally “good news.” It is a word that is used diversely in scripture. The good news is the general message that is preached or proclaimed (Rom 10:16, 11:28). It references the event of justification (Rom 1:16), the content of the righteousness of God (Rom 15:19; 2 Cor 9:13); and the revelation of mystery (Rom 16:25; 2 Cor 4:3).
