Krystle Warren is one of my favorite musicians, and she's highly influential too. I always see one or two famous artists at her shows, showing up incognito to soak up the richness that is her music. It's a hard act to describe, but that’s ok because she's got several records out, to which you can go listen after we talk here. I'll just say there's a depth of connection which she has that is incredibly rare to find. If this is your first time finding out about her, it’s your lucky day.She's from Kansas City but she lives in France. I met her in New York many years ago and we recorded our chat in LA on the patio at the home of bassist Solomon Dorsey, another great musician who I hope to speak to on this show someday. Solomon is in Krystle's band, The Faculty.
