A Casual Sitdown with Sankar, President and co-founder of the Herpetological Society of Singapore. ______________________________________________ Sankar is the President and co-founder of the Herpetological Society of Singapore (HSS). Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians. These misunderstood creatures are found all over Singapore. However, they face lots of discrimination and unwarranted fear from the public. The HSS has been actively involved in education, outreach and conservation of reptiles and amphibians in Singapore since 2015. It hopes to increase the appreciation and respect for wild reptiles and amphibians among the people of Singapore.
