In this rant, I talk with a Liberian-American living in Ireland. Melvina has been living abroad for the last two years. She and I discuss how our views of racism abroad have changed.Before moving abroad, we had ideas that racism and Anti-Blackness was an American thing like apple pie. From James Baldwin to Nina Simone before us, we saw many Black artists find their liberation in Europe.
