Often times buyers and loan officers will stand firm and swear that the pre-approval letter is a surefire indicator of what a buyer is able to afford in today's marketplace based on their income assets and liabilities. The fact is, there are many loan officers out there who are issuing pre-approval letters without obtaining the full scope of the purchaser making those pre-approval letters completely and utterly a waste. In this episode I discuss why it's important to have a real estate agent who is well versed in not only real estate but also the mortgage process.
