Proximity determines how much we can see the good and bad in others. Today Pastor Dustin Clegg continues in our study of Exodus as we look at chapters 20-23. We see that we need family to help us love Jesus better. We also see that we need family to help us lover others better. We need to have reasonable expectations of our family at The Bridge Church. What are some right or good expectations? (1) We aren't going to follow the crowd. We are going to follow Jesus together. (2) We are going to care for the vulnerable. (3) Do not show favoritism. And (4) Jesus is on display and nothing competes with Him.Caring for the poor, the widows, and the fatherless is not a " side note" of the Gospel..... it IS the Gospel.
