In Nehemiah 5, we consider how Nehemiah confronts a problem and concurrently our need to hear the cry for help from those oppressed. We then consider how the problem was solved in Nehemiah's response and the lesson for us to respond to injustice with righteous anger, careful contemplation, and direct confrontation. Finally, we consider how Nehemiah's example of integrity and generosity calls us as Christians to respond with appropriate action and lead by example.
