This week Chelsey sits down with Kelly Balarie to talk about resting with the Lord. Truly resting with Him - in His Word, through His directing, and living in surrender with Him.   I’ve been so eager to have this conversation for a few reasons. 1st being I know this will be a blessing to each person that listens - this message is one that so perfectly fits with what The Lord has laid on my heart. 2nd this book met me in the midst of a few weeks where I felt like I was drowning in “un-rest”. So first I wanted to start by diving into talking about the first chapter of this book - “the endless pursuit of more”. One of my favorite parts was the Counting of Counterfeits. Can you share about these “counterfeits” of more that seemingly creep in and begin fighting for the throne of our hearts that belongs only to The Lord.What takes your eyes off of the Lord?What takes your attention of what the Lord is doing in your life? 1 John 2:16, "For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.” This is huge in culture today, we live in the most self seeking, self preserving, self centered generations.
