The following headlines from September 1920 are from The Monroe Evening News of Monroe, Michigan. The news includes back to school reports, an upcoming Dollar Days sale and the mushroom harvest. There also was a bank robbery in downtown Monroe involving five suspects; but after a tire burst on their getaway car, they all ran into a cornfield.
