Today, MJ and Andrea talk about the book The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and the ethical issues the book raises. Too many times throughout the history of this country, people with privilege have exploited people of color, and they have enriched themselves without even acknowledging (much less compensating) the people they have abused in the process of advancing science.
