It’s early morning on the banks of the Delaware. There’s still a low cloud hugging the treeline before the streaks of sun will light up the shores and site. The birds are vocal, chip chip chirruping with their close calls and distant replies over the hushing-rushing of the river as it flattens out over the eel weir. July 2019.
