Linda Pollack Orleans is a consultant, writer and speaker who holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Southern California. Linda worked professionally as a school social worker and currently does consultations with schools and community organizations, assisting in programs designed to help her daughter and others with special needs bond with their mainstream peers. Linda’s articles and interviews have been featured in magazines and sites such as Autism Parenting Magazine, Finding Cooper’s Voice, Bethesda Magazine, Jewish Weekly and Friendship Circle of Maryland. Linda lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and beautiful 18-year-old daughter who has autism and Crohn's disease. Linda continues her passion of advocating for her daughter and others with disabilities through consulting, writing publications, and speaking engagements.
