This week our guest is Sam Preston. Sam is behaviour change officer at Nottingham City Council and an NGFP board member. Sam is also a Roosevelt Scholar and she will be telling us about the highlights (of which there are many) of her trip to the USA last autumn when she visited sustainable food projects across the country. Now it was very recently announced by EDIE the influential on line environmental news organisation that a panel of judges had selected 30 young people under 30 who they think are the sustainability visionaries of 2020 - and our Sam is one of them - so we look forward to hearing more about that. We will talk about what could work here and also about the many projects that we work on together - including the city council’s carbon neutral 2028 vision and why the inclusion of the local food system is so critical So tune in this Friday at 1.30pm.
