Toondah Harbour on the coast near Brisbane is a globally significant wetland and a vital stopover for shorebirds such as the critically endangered Eastern Curlew. Although parts of the reef are recovering after mass coral bleaching, she's found 60 species (16%) of coral have disappeared from around Lizard Island.
