Today's podcast is entitled The Reading, The Underestimated Tour and my guest is Sharon Hector.
She is a 56 year old dynamic woman of colour and is with us today to share her personal story. After working for 30 years at one of the most prestigious ad agencies in the world, she was unceremoniously laid-off amidst one of the most devastating events our world has witnessed, the pandemic, coupled with the racial tensions that have also been taking centre stage in the media.
She has chosen to memorialize this life changing event in writing, and she is here today to share with us a reading of a chapter in her book sharing with us her experiences of the subtle (and not so subtle) nuances of racism.
