Education

Hey yall! Oh my goodness. It's been so long since we have chatted! I apologize because It's totally my fault. I moved from Tennessee to Florida over the summer. Although I am loving my new location, this move was much more on my mind than I anticipated. I had a very ambitious goal of only taking 30 days off from the podcast but honestly, I just couldn't do it. I talk more about what this move has been for me and how I have been having some real internal struggles in this season premiere. I also talk about how I received help from two unexpected (but very much appreciated) places during my time away. I have some awesome episodes scheduled for this season. In the next coming weeks, we will discuss the topics of uterine fibroids, postpartum depression and some of the experiences Black trans women face in today's society. Our guests for these episodes include LaToya Dwight of the Fibroid Pandemic, LLC. out of Atlanta, Georgia, Tara Seay of Universal Parenting Place and Jasmine Tasaki of We Care Tennessee both out of Memphis, TN. Mentioned in this episode- Robbie Green who is also known as The Working Mom's Coach. @the_working_moms_coach on Instagram. She was featured before on the podcast on Season 1 episode 11. And Cody Little @CodyTheGrand #OnThePorchWithCody on Instagram Thank you to everyone who has continued to listen and catch up on episodes since I have been away. Your support means so much. If you're not already, follow the podcast page on Instagram- @supercytogirl. Love you long time. Talk soon!
