In Luke 6 there is a huge crowd present, following Jesus. Luke identifies them in two categories - disciples of Christ and “people.” In other words, there were followers of Jesus and those who were not followers of Jesus. Disciples were present because they had given their lives to Jesus. The “people” were there for what Jesus could do for them. In this sermon Tony introduces the Sermon on The Mount and talks about the difference between a disciple and a non-disciple.
