Dwight and I hit upon an original idea. We start out talking about selfishness. What is it? Simply stated, selfishness is what causes suffering in the world. Then we talk about the New Covenant. In Christian theology this is the new era Christ came to usher in. What if we view this New Covenant as an evolution is human consciousness? Think of it beyond theology--what could that mean? Perhaps it is a new stage of human psychological development where people stop judging others and start to accept and love each other.
