In what would be the final game in the legendary career of FSU Head Coach Bobby Bowden, the Seminoles traveled to Jacksonville to battle West Virginia in the Gator Bowl on January 1st, 2010.After trailing 14-3 after one quarter, FSU cut the deficit to 14-13 at the half. In the second half, however, it was all Seminoles. Led by two rushing touchdowns from Jermaine Thomas, Florida State outscored West Virginia 20-7 in the final 30 minutes en route to a 33-21 victory to finish the season at 6-6.
