Corporate worship is important. When we're not together, our worship can move to other things just like it did with the Israelites in the wilderness. When our worship is placed on something else, we can think we're self-sufficient. But when we come together in the name of Jesus, the Bible says Jesus is present. Jesus inhabits the praises of his people. We are meant to be together. Dave encourages us to avoid becoming self-indulgent in isolation, and never to take corporate worship for granted but to value it.
