English prog-folk band STRAWBS came to Outpost in the Burbs as part of their 50th Anniversary tour in April 2019. This podcast includes an interview with Strawbs founder Dave Cousins, conducted in partnership with Montclair State University, as well as a chat with Outpost board member Al Mercuro, who originally brought the Strawbs to MSU in 1974! The concert included a powerful full performance of the band’s HERO AND HEROINE album; this podcast includes the live recording of the “Hero and Heroine” song from that performance.
