This week, I had an opportunity to sit and talk to Rasheen Aldridge of Black Lives Matter/Show Me $15 and Tiffany Loftin of the Civil, Women, and Human Rights department at the AFL-CIO. We talk about the intersections of race and class as well as the historic movements by the AFL-CIO to define for itself a definition and a place within the broader movement for racial justice.
