Depending on which spread you're using, they're telling a story and I'm finding the patterns, and I'm seeing what my patterns are. Everybody is aware of their own patterns, just more on a subconscious level most of the time. So when you're putting the cards in front of you, you're bringing all of that subconscious information to the forefront of your mind and becoming conscious of it, and a lot of times people are either scared or just amazed by this because they think that the cards are magical.
