Quinlan Conley has put his Americana-infused punk rock through the ultimate test. Over the course of almost 2 years on the road, touring nonstop, Quinn was able to cultivate an engaged audience in several different pockets across the US. Despite starting in a small town in Montana, his music now also has a home in St. Louis, Memphis, and areas in New England, among other places. All that time on the road testing his songs in front of different audiences helped shape the dynamic range you’ll hear on his album, When the Fire Goes Out. I actually met Quinn as a child growing up in that same small town in Montana. His dad was the very first guitar teacher I ever had, and the reason why I had the courage to try writing songs as early as I did.
