Brett Henry is in his ninth season in the Washington Nationals organization, his 2nd full season as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Major League Level. The previous four seasons, Henry served as the Strength and Conditioning coach at Triple-A Syracuse, and prior to that held the same position in one-year stints at Single-A Potomac (2012), Double-A Harrisburg (2011) and Short-Season-A Vermont (2010). Henry is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and hold various other highly respected professional certifications. A graduate of Corvallis High School in Corvallis, Montana, Henry played two years of collegiate baseball at Spokane Falls Community College. He finished his undergraduate studies at Washington State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Henry earned a Masters Degree in Athletes Performance and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. During the off-season, Henry resides in Orlando, Florida, with his wife, Darlene.
