I find it kind of funny how extreme the media has become in this country. The media and those on the left have, for the past 8-10 years, smugly called conservatives “conspiracy theorists.” They’ve painted conservatives to be tinfoil hat wearing loons who sit in their basements and read InfoWars stories and go on Reddit and make up totally untrue stories just to slander Obama. There were some untrue stories floated on the right in the last 8-10 years. There were definitely some conspiracy theories. I’m not going to deny that. However, the left has turned into exactly what they have consistently painted the right out as. Those on the left are the biggest conspiracy theorists among us. If you support Trump in any way, then you are part of the alt-right movement. Look, generally I have been supporting Trump. But I will voice my opinion when I disagree with him. Blindly supporting anyone or anything is dangerous because it’s what dumb people do. But there is zero evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. If there was, I’d be there investigating. But let’s talk about the alt-right movement. The term alt-right wasn’t even really heard of until last year. Now everyone uses it. I’ve been called alt-right. I still don’t really don’t know what it means, but apparently it’s supposed to be a diss. My guest today is someone who has also been called alt-right a lot in her career — Lauren Southern! In this episode of the podcast, we talk about the alt-right and much more.
