If you really want to catch someone off guard, upon greeting them, 9 times out of 10 they will ask “How ya doin’?” Respond with “it’s the best day of my life.” Responses to that will vary but you will inevitably stop them in their tracks and the number one response to that is “what, did you win the lottery or something?” I use that phrase quite often.
