We’ve been having a lot of fun mocking the popular phrase “The church just wants your money.” If you’ve seen the video bumper then you know that your pastors (who normally wear jeans and drive civics) got all decked out in white tuxes and pretended to be jet-setters. While we are poking fun at those who exploit generosity the truth is there is a lot wrong with the phrase “The church just wants your money”.
