In this sermon 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, Pastor Jon English explains how the church is the new temple of God, which means the church is the place of God’s special revealed presence, is holy and pure, is divinely made and ordered, and is only entered through the work of a priest. Furthermore, the new temple is also protected by God himself, and thus we would be warned to not tear it down through sin or impurity.
