I hope this episode could be an inspiration to some people whose lives are being destroyed by drug addiction. I may not know exactly what one may be going through nor fully understand how severe or mild it may be, but I know enough that suffering affects not just the victim or the addict but also the people around them especially the ones they love. In this episode, a good friend of mine shares his life story of losing control of his own life to drugs and addiction, dire moments, and how he’s survived through it all. Marty McCoy is a good man, a loving family man, and a truly resilient human being.
