The Glory of God 2 Chronicles 5:1-14 Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man, became a living being. Genesis 3:23 So the Lord God banished him from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken (NIV) 1. God appeared to Abraham Acts 7:2 The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran. 2. God manifested his Glory to Israel Exodus 13:21 and the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: for he is good, for his mercy endures forever, that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. 3. God Revealed the glory through Jesus John 1:14 and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. Hebrews 2:9-10 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that he, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory… John 17:22, 24 and the glory which you gave me I have given them, that they may be one as we are one. That they may behold my glory which you have given me. Amos 9:13 Behold the days are coming, says the Lord, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed.
