Hey everyone, welcome back to the Willis Talks podcast. In this episode, I am joined by Dean Adamson, who is the Managing Director and co-founder of the vegan sweets and confectionery business, Mummy Meagz. Dean talks to me about living a vegan lifestyle and helps to demystify some of the rumours about veganism. We discuss why he and his family, also fellow vegans, created the vegan-friendly confectionary brand, Mummy Meagz, who say their mission is to simply make vegan versions of the world's favourite snacks. Dean highlights how the business has grown, now securing deals with major high street sellers, such as Holland and Barratt. Dean also talks to me about his life leading up to creating Mummy Meagz. A former Sniper in the British Army, a footballer in Australia and a business mentor at Virgin, Dean really has lived a full life. Like me, he hails from a council estate in Hull and has been driven to try new things, something he enthuses about to young people. He’s all about having a go.
