Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have become house hold names in New Zealand through their unparalleled success. on the water.Whether it be sailing in the Olympics or for Team New Zealand,the America's Cup or in any other event they stick their hands up for, the duo attract plenty of support with their distinctly Kiwi attitude to competition. Sport and sailing aren't the only things which consume their thoughts though, the health of our oceans and quality of the seas surrounding New Zealand and beyond are major passions for both of them.That's led them to launch a their charity Live Ocean, which will support and invest in promising marine science, innovation, technology and marine conservation projects.Daniel McHardy spoke to both Peter and Blair about this new endeavour, what led them to kick starting it and how they're planning on managing their time with the Olympics and America's Cup on the horizon.
