Pastor Dustin Clegg continues in our Thieves of Joy series as we take a look at Galations 1 & 2 and see that desiring the praise of man can step our joy.We see that what Jesus thinks of us is all that matters. We should check our stance with scripture. Don't be a jerk. And submit to only Jesus.We also see that desiring man's praise is a recipe for confusing and shallow Christianity. Furthermore, desiring man's praise is blinding.7 questions we should ask ourselves:(1) Are your decisions primarily driven by what others will think of them?(2) Do you spend more time crafting your skill than you do in the Word or prayer?(3) Do you only portray the most desirable aspects of your life to those around you?(4) Do your deepest relationships reveal your struggles?(5) Are you a person who encourages or one who flatters?(6) Is your confidence found in obedience to Jesus or the praise of man?(7) Do you have to respond when critiqued?
