I feel like the real moments of truth happen at points where we are most vulnerable. I think it's because those are the times where we really have to push ourselves to explore new territory and are more open to the elements. In the past few days, I've spent some time looking back at the major influences in my life that have impacted my music. The question that I've been left with is 'when will I have a major moment like that again?' I think the answer to that lies somewhere in a true moment of vulnerability. And in order to allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we need to have tremendous courage.
