A Very sensitive topic that Christians are divided on...and that is...To Tithe or Not to Tithe. Many in the Christian community barely have enough to make ends meet. To be told that that only way out of your financial dilemma is to give ten percent of your money. This rhetoric has got to stop. I have yet to see my circumstances change as a result of giving ten percent of my money. Quite the contrary, often times I would suffer lack due to a large percentage of my money going to the church and not having enough for my own responsibilities. If you want to support your local house of worship, then fine, but do not attach a percentage to it and suggest that God will only honor you or bless you if you give your money.
