Much Review About Nothing

Comedy

On the forty-third episode of Much Review About Nothing we reviewed Tom and Jerry (2021) with help from a special guest: our good friend John! We’ve dragged him into many of our previous misadventures, so it was only right he should finally end up on our absurd little show. Again, we must point out that we haven't seen the movie. That is 100% not a joke. Everything we know about the film comes from the trailer, reviews, articles, and our own biased preconceptions. Listen along as we ponder burning questions like: Will they ever release the extended cut of Tom’s interview scene? Did this movie rip off Spiderman 2 by also being set in New York? Is Tom and Jerry’s endless struggle an allegory for the often-ambiguous nature of oppressor versus victim throughout human history? Will this film turn children into raging alcoholics? Are we going to be producing a PSA on the disadvantaged subset of people known as “Review Dependents” who can only ask things via online film reviews? But most importantly, is the world ready for Tom and Jerry’s unexpectedly boundary-pushing message: “It’s not gay to kiss your bros”?
