Tout Wars is the premier league for many of the high-profile fantasy baseball experts. The league of Fantasy Baseball experts was created in 1998 by Ron Shandler of www.BaseabllHQ.COM. In 2006 Sam Walker penned the best selling book Fantasyland based on his actions leading up to Tout Wars. The live auctions are conducted each year in late March shortly before the MLB season and include a 12 team AL-only league, a 13-team NL-only league and a 17-team mixed league which was added in 2005.
