As one of the largest producers of coffee in Africa and fourth largest coffee producer in the world, much of Ethiopian Coffee is actually for local consumption. The buna or coffee ceremony is more than just drinking a cup of coffee. It is a ceremonial ritual that can go on for hours with coffee, snacks, sweet incense and lots of conversation among family, friends and neighbors.
