CIE4821. Master course fundamental traffic flow characteristics and traffic flow variables. Lagrangian coordinates and the advantages of Lagrangian formulation will be elaborated in this lecture. The lecture also discuss how trucks influence the traffic stream and and introduces macroscopic fundamental diagrams.
