[38] This is the first and greatest commandment. [39] And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' A true friend will tell you the truth for success in life ⼀個真正的朋友會告知你成功⽣命的真理 (Proverbs 27:6 NKJV) Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. 箴⾔ 27章6節 (CUV) 朋友加的傷痕，出於忠誠，仇敵連親嘴，卻是多餘。 (Ephesians 4:15 NIV) Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 以弗所書 4章15節 (CUV) 惟⽤愛⼼說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督。 2. A true friend is there on the good days and on the bad days 一個真正的朋友不論好⽇子或壞⽇子也相隨 (Proverbs 17:17 NIV) A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. 箴⾔ 17章17節 (CUV) 朋友乃時常親愛。弟兄為患難⽽生。 (Proverbs 18:24 NIV) One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. 箴⾔ 18章24節 (CUV) 濫交朋友的，⾃取敗壞。但有⼀朋友，比弟兄更親密。 (Romans 12:15 NIV) Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 羅馬書 12章15節 (CUV) 與喜樂的人要同樂。與哀哭的⼈要同哭。 3. A true friend would sacrifice for you 一個真正的朋友會為你犧牲 (John 15:13 NIV) Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 約翰福音 15章15節 (CUV) 人為朋友捨命，⼈的愛心沒有比這個更大的。 (John 10:10 NIV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 約翰福音 10章10節 (CUV) 盜賊來，無非要偷竊，殺害，毀壞。我來了，是要叫羊《或作⼈》得⽣命，並且得的更豐盛。
