This leads to a discussion about the death of Eric Garner who was killed by a New York cop 5 years ago. Blue points out that based on the 3 prong test posited by case law from Graham vs. Connor the placing of Mr. Garner in any type of neck restraint was unreasonable from the start regardless of outcome due to the petty, nonviolent misdemeanor crime he was being accused of coupled with his passive resistance.
