That Podcast I Like

Comedy

Today on That Podcast I Like:  We've left Kansas City last week and finally stopped driving when we got to Daytona Beach and the vacation rental we found for the next two months is turning out to be quite the Florida experience.  In the news: 1. Football was everything you wanted it to be over the last couple days, unless you are Alex Smith. Was it really the #TheismannCurse that possibly ended the Washington Redskins quarterback's career? 2. Satanic panic is BACK! One pastor in Texas took to the radio waves while others prayed on the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center in Midland, Texas to protect them from the influences of metal band GHOST. We ended up having an in depth conversation with Libby Phelps, grand-daughter of the founder of the Westboro Baptist Church after "the church" protested a Green Day show we were at. Find out how from a former member of the church how those protests are organized.  3. It's almost Thanksgiving so of course that means its time to prank your parents. First time turkey cookers are taking to Twitter to share the results from texting their parents to ask how long to microwave a 25 pound turkey; here's what the #25lbturkeychallenge is all about. And finally, a re-telling of a favorite Thanksgiving day story, "Little Stacy Turkey Hands".
