More Info: www.unpopularpeople.com Miguel is a Biochemical Engineer with specialisation in Environmental Engineering and a Martial Arts instructor, living in New Zealand. He was born in Quillota, Chile and grew up with his three siblings closely connected with the agriculture. Since his childhood, he has been fascinated with martial arts, mountains and nature. He worked six years in Chile in Climate Change calculating greenhouse emissions and suggesting mitigation measurements for his clients. After that, he started travelling: Argentina, Peru, The Philippines, Malaysia, Morocco, France, and Australia are only a few places in the world where he has been so far. In 2015 he went to New Zealand and met Ben. Since then, they are close friends and training-mates. At the moment he lives in Christchurch, combining his profession and passions. He is working as a Research Assistant in Carbon Measurements at the University of Canterbury, which means, he is measuring and identifying New Zealand native trees and shrubs, and using allometric equations to estimate carbon sequestration rates.
